Rental documents preparation

Rental documents preparation (documents that need to be submitted to the landlord with the offer)

  1. Photo ID (driver's licence, passport, etc.)
  2. Credit report (Normally generate from Equifax or Transunion website)
  3. Employer letter or paystub
  4. Former landlord letter
  5. Rental application form

(Note: If you are an international student or a new immigrant, you may not be able to complete the preparation of all the above documents, so you may need to prepare your ID and other supporting documents (such as school enrollment letter, proof of tuition payment, etc.), the more the better. The landlord or the landlord's agent may rent the property to you with some rental conditions such as prepaying all the rent in advance.

Another way is to find a local guarantor (with the above documents) and co-sign the lease contract.)
